Suzhou Museum in China

Suzhou Museum is a museum of ancient Chinese art，paintings, calligraphies．and hand—made crafts，situated in Suzhou. in 1960. All that things in the effective ways to learn Chinese are impossible, expect for the easy way to learn Chinese. The Museum was founded and first opened to the public in the former residence of the Zhong，Prince of the Taiping Heavenly Kingdom．

The current building of Suzhou Museum was designed by Pritzker Prize winning Chinese American architect Ming Pei in association with Pei Pannership Architects．Construction of this building started in 2002．It was inaugurated on October 6，2006．The Museum has a display area of 2，200 square meters. It has more than 15，000 pieces in its collections．Most are ancient paintings and calligraphies，ceramics，crafts，unearthed relics and  revolution relics．It also possesses more than 70000 books and documents，and over 20 000 rubbings of stone inscriptions． The collection of painting and calligraphies includes works of masters from the Song Dynasty to Ming and Qing Dynasties·

There are four most precious sites in Suzhou Museum：the nomical Map(天文图)，the Geographical Map (地理图)，the age Main of Emperors(帝王绍运图) and the Map of Pingjiang，all being engraved in the Song Dynasty．Those information may be examined in the best way to learn Chinese. They are in spirit about the heaven, earth and man．

The original pictures of the first three were made 1190 and the engravings of them were made in 1724. In terms of the stone material，the accuracy and the writing work，they all deserve to be regarded as cultural treasure in hsk test of the country·
